A member receives a covenant name, enrollment in the Tribe, membership in the Church, and a six-page instrument recording all of it — executed before witnesses, sealed by the Tribal Council, and acknowledged before a Notary Public.

Member information

Legal name of record, conferred covenant name, ceremony date, jurisdiction, instrument number and tribal enrollment number.

The conferred name

The covenant name set out in full, with the tier conferred and the authority under which it was granted.

Dual enrollment

Tribal membership and church membership established simultaneously by one covenant act, each recorded in its own register.

Doctrinal and legal foundation

The doctrinal basis for the name, with the legal framework stated accurately — including what each authority does and does not reach.

Six declarations

Accepted freely by the member, covering the name, its religious character, its scope, the tier system, and full responsibility under law.

Conferral and witnesses

Member signature, two witnesses, and joint conferral signed by the Chief for the Council and the Church.

Notarial acknowledgment

Taken before a disinterested Notary Public, with venue, commission details and space for the notary seal.

Seals and integrity

Tribal and church seal, page-by-page instrument numbering, and a register entry so any instrument number can be verified.

Two tiers of name

Every member enters at the First Tier. The founding family name is earned, not requested.

TIER I

The ik prefix

ik Velery Elise Vermone

  • ik means Indigenous Kin, and marks covenant entry as tribal member and church member at once.
  • Conferred at the Naming Baptismal ceremony itself.
  • Includes tribal enrollment, church membership and the full six-page documentation suite.
  • Open to every applicant accepted by the Council.
TIER II

The Malachi name

Olathe Amania Malachi

  • The founding family name of the Crown of Malachi.
  • Earned through demonstrated service, knowledge of the Vedas and exemplary conduct.
  • Requires recommendation of the Tribal Council and approval of the Chief.
  • You may express interest below, but it is conferred at the Council's discretion — never on request alone.

How it proceeds

From intake to sealed record. Most members complete the sequence in three to five weeks.

THE SEQUENCE — INTAKE THROUGH CONFERRAL
1.

You submit the intake

Everything needed to draft the record — your legal name of record, the covenant name you are seeking, your witnesses, and your preferred ceremony date and jurisdiction.

2.

The Council reviews the name

Your requested name is checked for uniqueness against the tribal register and reviewed against naming doctrine. If it is already held, we move to your alternate choice.

3.

An instrument number is assigned

Your record receives a permanent instrument number carrying a check character, entered in the register before drafting begins. That number appears on every page.

4.

The record is drafted for your review

You receive all six pages to check every name, date and spelling before anything is signed. Corrections at this stage cost nothing.

5.

The ceremony is held

You accept the covenant name freely, before your two witnesses, in person or remotely. The Chief signs the joint conferral for the Council and the Church.

6.

Notarization and sealing

A disinterested Notary Public takes your acknowledgment. The tribal and church seal is affixed, the register entry is completed, and your sealed original is issued.

WHAT THIS RECORD IS

  • A sacred naming and enrollment record of the Malachian Yamasee Tribe.
  • An official membership record of the Church of Eternal Self Ministries.
  • A contemporaneous written record of sincerely held religious belief, made before witnesses and before any dispute arose.
  • Evidence of your religious identity, protected in its exercise by the First Amendment.
  • A permanent entry in the tribal register, verifiable by instrument number.

WHAT THIS RECORD IS NOT

  • It is not a government-issued identification document and does not replace one.
  • It does not change your legal name. That happens only through the court or administrative process of your state.
  • It does not exempt you from any law that applies to you, or from responsibility for harm to any person.
  • It is not a driver's licence, passport, birth certificate, or a substitute for presenting lawful identification.
  • It confers no immunity, and we will never tell you that it does.
